TailBat is an external battery accessory designed for M5ATOM. When inserted into the M5ATOM, it directly powers the module, enabling mobile applications. The TailBat contains a 190mAh battery and features a physical button. It is controlled by the IP5303 power management chip. When powered on, the red LED turns on; it flashes during charging and stays solid when fully charged. Operation follows the M5Stack Core method: single click to power on, double click to power off. Designed solely to add battery capacity, the TailBat does not affect the original GROVE connection mode or USB functionality. The built-in battery can only be recharged via the USB Type-C port.
