N-Channel MOSFET 60V 0.5A TO-92 (BS170)

The BS170 is an N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFET designed for switching and signal amplification applications. Housed in a compact TO-92 package, it is ideal for controlling low-power loads such as LEDs, relays, or small motors in your Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32 projects.

As an enhancement-mode device, the BS170 remains off until the gate-source voltage exceeds its threshold. It is typically placed between the load and ground (GND) for low-side switching controlled by a microcontroller.
