The M5Camera (U017) is an image recognition development board featuring an ESP32-WROVER (4 MB Flash + 4 MB PSRAM) and a 2MP OV2640 camera sensor.

It supports Wi-Fi image transmission and USB Type-C debugging. Comes with pre-installed firmware for instant web-based video streaming.

Quantity

The M5Camera (U017) is an image recognition development board that integrates an ESP32-WROVER microcontroller (4 MB Flash, 520 KB internal RAM, and 4 MB PSRAM) paired with a 2-megapixel OV2640 camera sensor. This wireless unit supports Wi-Fi image transmission and USB debugging via a built-in CP2104 USB-to-TTL converter.

The hardware comes with pre-installed firmware developed using ESP-IDF, running a Wi-Fi camera application. Simply connect your device to the "m5stack-" access point broadcast by the board and open a browser at 192.168.4.1 to view the real-time video feed (approximately 5–6 frames per second). The source code can be optimized to adjust the output resolution.
