The Grove Base Shield for NodeMCU is an extension board designed to simplify the use of Grove sensors and modules with the ESP8266 NodeMCU development kit. It allows you to easily connect Grove peripherals without soldering or complex wiring.
This shield stacks directly onto the NodeMCU and provides a straightforward interface to control your sensors using the Lua scripting language built into the NodeMCU firmware, or via the Arduino core. The staggered pin alignment optimizes board space: the D3 socket handles pins D3 and D5, D5 handles D5 and D6, and so on.
