The DAC+ Audio IQaudio is a Hi-Fi Full-HD (192 kHz / 24-bit) HAT designed for Raspberry Pi, ideal for live use, studio, web radio, DAW, or DJ applications. It features integrated hardware volume control via ALSA and a high-quality TI TPA6133A headphone amplifier. No soldering is required as the board is powered directly through the Raspberry Pi GPIO, ensuring compatibility with all models including A+, B+, 2, 3, 3B+, and 4.
IQaudIO Pi-DAC +
The IQaudIO Pi-DAC + is designed to deliver the best possible audio performance with the Raspberry Pi B+ and RPi2. It fits the Pi's form factor and provides additional access to many of the 40-way GPIO signals of the Pi B+.
The Pi-DAC + Phono / RCA connectors feature an integrated mounting hole, providing increased rigidity when used in a case and reducing wear on the Raspberry Pi headers due to flexing. Combined with the Pi-DAC + HAT mounting holes, aligned with those of the Raspberry Pi, this offers a solid coupling without fear of the audio card disconnecting from the Raspberry Pi during long-term use.
The Pi-DAC + provides support for additional pin headers, offering increased flexibility for your project and easy connection to other IQaudIO products.
Exposed signals include Audio L + R output, amp-mute, headphone output, and the majority of the Raspberry Pi 40-way connector.
Please note that the Pi-DAC + uses GPIO22 as amp-mute.
Use Raw Linux, Volumio, Raspbmc, RuneAudio, MDP, or similar to listen to Internet radio, your own digital music library, or streaming music services—all in magnificent audio quality.
The Pi-DAC + easily supports 24-bit / 192 kHz file formats but is equally comfortable with lower-quality MP3s that bring your music to life.
