The Energy Shield by Seeed Studio is a power expansion board for Arduino based on a LiPo battery. It ensures continuous power supply to your projects while automatically managing the battery recharge whenever an external energy source is detected.
This shield accepts multiple power sources: solar cells (JST connector), USB port, or 9V and 12V DC adapters (via the Arduino DC jack). It also features a dedicated USB port to charge external peripherals such as smartphones or tablets.
