4-in-1 Grove module based on the TMG39931: ambient light, colour, gesture and proximity sensing. Communicates with any Arduino or compatible microcontroller over I2C. Its high sensitivity allows operation behind dark glass.
Operating principles:
- Gesture sensing: uses 4 directional photodiodes to detect reflected IR.
- Proximity sensing: same IR reflection principle, converted to distance information.
- Ambient light and colour sensing: RGB colour measurement with built-in UV and IR filter for accurate readings.
The module connects to any I2C Grove port on a Base Shield or Mega Shield via the included 4-wire cable.
Snap-fit, Lego®-compatible and screw mounts are available separately.
