The LilyPad Arduino USB is a flat, circular microcontroller board based on the ATmega32u4. It features native USB connectivity (mouse/keyboard/serial) without an external adapter, operates at 3.3V, and supports 3.7V LiPo battery power via its JST connector.

The LilyPad Arduino USB differs from previous iterations by integrating native USB communication directly into the ATmega32u4 microcontroller. This eliminates the need for a separate USB-to-serial adapter and allows the board to appear to a connected computer as a mouse, keyboard, or virtual serial (CDC) port.

Designed specifically for wearable electronics and soft robotics, its flat circular form factor features large solder pads suitable for conductive thread. The board includes an onboard power switch and a dedicated charging circuit for 3.7V LiPo batteries, making it self-contained for portable projects.
