The Pro Micro 5V/16MHz is a compact microcontroller development board compatible with Arduino, based on the ATmega32U4 IC designed by SparkFun Electronics. Inspired by the Arduino Leonardo, this board features native USB HID controller capabilities, eliminating the need for a separate USB-to-Serial interface for programming.
Its small form factor (33 x 18 mm) makes it ideal for projects requiring discreet integration while maintaining full functionality, including USB device emulation such as keyboards or mice. The board exposes pins on two parallel headers for easy access to I/O and power connections.
