MAX30100 Heart Rate Pulse Sensor Module (rwl-0530)
The MAX30100 module is an integrated pulse oximetry (SpO2) and heart rate monitoring sensor solution. It combines two LEDs (red and infrared), a photodetector, optimized optics, and low-noise analog signal processing to accurately detect pulse oximetry and heart-rate signals.
Operating from 1.8 V or 3.3 V power supplies, the MAX30100 can be software-powered down with negligible standby current. The I2C interface simplifies connection to common microcontrollers such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi, making it suitable for wearable devices, fitness assistants, and medical monitoring applications.
