PCIe to M.2 4G/5G and USB 3.2 HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5

This HAT+ is designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5 and adheres to the HAT+ standard, featuring an onboard I2C EEPROM for automatic identification. It stacks directly onto the Raspberry Pi 5's 40-pin GPIO header via a flexible 16-pin cable, providing a clean and stable expansion solution.

The adapter includes an M.2 (NGFF) Key B slot compatible with 4G/5G modules in 3042 and 3052 form factors, supporting SIMCom (SIM7600X-M.2, SIM82XX) and Quectel (RM5XX) series modules. A USB Type-C port allows connection to a PC for debugging and firmware updates, or serves as an external power input for the cellular module.

Beyond cellular connectivity, this HAT expands the PCIe interface into three high-speed USB 3.2 Gen1 ports for additional peripherals. It also integrates a power monitoring chip (voltage, current, power), a nano-SIM slot, and status LEDs along with a reset button for easy operation tracking. A customized 4-in-1 PCB antenna is included for tidy cable management.
