The Grove - Gas Sensor (MQ5) module is useful for gas leakage detection (in home and industry). It can detect LPG, natural gas, town gas, and more. Thanks to its fast response time, measurements can be taken as soon as possible. The sensitivity can also be adjusted via the potentiometer.
The Grove - Gas Sensor MQ5 is a compact gas sensor module designed for detecting household and industrial gas leaks. It is sensitive to propane (LPG), natural gas, town gas, and methane.
This module features an integrated potentiometer for adjusting detection sensitivity. It provides an analog output proportional to the detected gas concentration, which can be easily read using an Arduino or Raspberry Pi board with a Grove interface adapter.
