Infrared flame sensor module (760-1100nm) with digital and analog outputs. Compatible with Arduino 5V, ideal for fire safety projects and line-following robots.

Quantity

The Flame Sensor Module is an infrared receiver sensitive to wavelengths between 760 nm and 1100 nm, designed to detect flames or specific light sources. It features an onboard LM393 comparator that allows switching between a digital output (with adjustable threshold via potentiometer) and direct analog reading of the photodiode signal.

Specifications

  • Detection Spectrum: 760 nm to 1100 nm
  • Supply Voltage: 3.3 V to 5 V DC
  • Outputs: Digital (DO) and Analog (AO)
  • Comparator: LM393 (open-collector output, requires pull-up resistor)
  • Detection Angle: approx. 60°
  • Indicators: Power LED and Comparator Output LED
  • Onboard Potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment
  • Dimensions: approx. 36 x 16 mm
  • Mounting Holes: 3 mm diameter

Note: The analog output (AO) provides the raw voltage from the photodiode. Ensure you add a pull-up resistor (e.g., 10 kΩ) to the DO pin if your microcontroller does not enable internal pull-ups.
