The DAC0800 is a monolithic 8-bit high-speed current-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) featuring typical settling times of 100 ns. It can be used as a multiplying DAC with monotonic performance over a 40:1 reference current range.

This device features high-compliance complementary current outputs, allowing differential output voltages up to 20 Vpp with simple resistive loads. It serves as a direct replacement for the DAC-08 and DAC-08A series. The reference-to-full-scale current matching (better than ±1 LSB) eliminates the need for full-scale trims in most applications.
