This pack includes: 2 pcs 6-pin lengthen female headers 2 pcs 8-pin lengthen female headers They all have 2.54mm spacing between pins and they are the perfect height for clearing the USB-B connector and great for stacking multiple shields.Their long legs also make it enough to connect a shield to an Arduino Main Board.
hs0038 IR sensor tuned to 38KHz, perfect for receiving commands from a TV remote control. Runs at 5V (although it seems to be OK down to 3.3V)To use, connect pin 3 (all the way to the right) to 5V power, pin 2 (middle) to ground and listen on pin 1. It doesn’t do any decoding of the signal, just passes the ‘raw data’ along.
The very popular 595 shift register chip of the 74 series is used a lot by hobbyis because of its wide availability, good speed and simplicity. Just plug it on an arduino like shown in the tutorials and youi have 8 more outputs, put two and you have 16 more outputs ! (up to a lot of them actually, with only three pins !)
