Contactless magnetic rotary angle measurement module based on the AS5600 sensor, offering 12-bit resolution (4096 positions) over 360°.
It provides three output modes: I²C, PWM, and analog voltage. Supply voltage 3.3 V to 5 V. Magnet included for mounting.
The AS5600 is a contactless magnetic rotary position sensor module offering high-resolution angle measurement. Based on the ams OSRAM AS5600 chip, it provides 12-bit resolution (4096 positions over 360°), making it a reliable alternative to mechanical encoders that wear out over time.
This module supports three output modes to fit your system architecture: I²C interface (default address 0x36), Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), and analog voltage output. It operates on 3.3V to 5.5V, ensuring compatibility with most common microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Pico.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Chip | AS5600 (ams OSRAM) |
| Resolution | 12-bit (4096 steps) |
| Measurement angle | 360° continuous |
| Supply voltage | 3.3 V to 5.5 V |
| Output interfaces | I²C, PWM, Analog |
| Default I²C address | 0x36 |
| Integral accuracy | ±1° (typical) |
