Ball-type tilt sensor (SW-520D) providing a digital output based on module orientation. Ideal for detecting horizontal or tilted positions in robotic projects.

Operates at 3.3 V or 5 V with a simple digital high/low output.

Quantity

The ball-type tilt sensor (SW-520D) is an electronic brick module designed to detect orientation and vibration. It provides a simple digital output (high/low) that can be easily read by an Arduino, ESP32, or any microcontroller.

Specifications

  • Operation: The internal ball closes the circuit when it rolls toward the output pin.
  • Output: Low level when the ball touches the pin (tilted), high level otherwise.
  • Supply voltage: 3.3 V to 5 V.
  • Format: Compatible with electronic brick modules (2.54 mm pitch connector).

Note: Check connector polarity before wiring. This sensor also reacts to vibrations, making it suitable for shock detection applications.
