The CD4049UBE is a CMOS Hex Inverting Buffer and Converter in a 16-pin DIP package. It features logic-level conversion using a single supply voltage (VCC). The high-level input signal (VIH) can exceed the supply voltage VCC when these components are used for logic-level conversion. The CD4049UBE is designed to be used as a CMOS-to-DTL/TTL converter and can directly drive two DTL/TTL loads. Typical applications include hex CMOS-to-DTL/TTL converters, CMOS current sink or source drivers, and high-to-low CMOS logic-level converters.
