Description

  • Based on the ESP8266 Wi-Fi IC, ESP-12F module.
  • One channel for RGB LED strips (can also be used for three mono channels).
  • One extra channel for white LED strips.
  • Jumper selection to support WS2812 LED strips or ring boards.
  • Input voltage 6-27V, also powers the LED strip: if the strip is 12V, input voltage should be 12V. For WS2812, input voltage should be 5V.
  • On-board MOSFET control is FR1205. For low light 5050 white LED strips, current is about 0.4A at 12V (5W), theoretically supporting up to 100 meters per channel.
  • All extra pins of the ESP-12F are led out for other uses. Two buttons: flash and reset.
  • Package includes:
    • Main control board
    • Plastic case kit (smaller than the ESP relay board)
    • DC 5.5-2.1mm power input cable
    • RGB connecting cable
    • Standard 5050 white LED strip (10cm) cable
  • Demo board flashed with RGB MQTT control firmware; other functions not yet supported.
  • For more hardware documentation, please see this page.
  • Demo video available here.
