Near field communication (NFC) is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication by touching them together or bringing them into close proximity, usually no more than a few centimeters.

For electronics enthusiasts, we also want to use NFC technology to build our own projects. That's why we created this NFC RFID module. This module is built around the NXP PN532, a very popular component in the NFC field. The manufacturer provides extensive technical documentation to help developers. We developed this module based on the official documentation. To make things easier, we also created a dedicated library.

We have broken out almost all IO pins of the NXP532 on this module. Users can easily connect and test. With our Arduino Sensor Shield, plug-and-play is very easy. However, if you want to use other interfaces such as UART or SPI, this module also makes it easy to connect those pins.
