The Arduino MKR ZERO is a development board based on the Atmel SAMD21 microcontroller, featuring a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ core. Designed in the compact MKR form factor, it serves as an excellent platform for learning 32-bit application development and digital audio processing.
This specific variant includes an onboard SD card connector with dedicated SPI interfaces (SPI1), allowing you to handle music files without additional hardware. It also supports the I2S (Inter-IC Sound) protocol via the Arduino Sound and I2S libraries, simplifying connections to digital audio devices and sound data analysis.
