The BMP085 is a digital pressure sensor. Its absolute accuracy can reach 0.03 hPa and power consumption is extremely low, with a current of only 1 μA in standard mode.
The BMP085 is a digital pressure sensor. Its absolute accuracy can reach 0.03 hPa and power consumption is extremely low, with a current of only 1 μA in standard mode. The BMP085 uses an ultra-thin 8-pin ceramic leadless chip carrier (LCC) package, allowing direct connection to various microprocessors via the I2C bus.
In addition to meteorological applications, the pressure sensor is primarily used to measure altitude. For example, to accurately determine whether someone is ascending or descending stairs during gait, horizontal height changes can be indirectly calculated by analyzing air pressure variations between floors.
