The USB Host Shield for Arduino allows connecting USB devices to your board. Based on the MAX3421E controller, it implements a USB 2.0 full-speed host compliant with the USB 2.0 standard.
This USB Host Shield enables your Arduino board to communicate with USB devices, including support for USB hubs and the Google Android ADK (Android Accessory Development Kit).
It is compatible with Android phones G1, Nexus One, Nexus S, and Motorola Droid X (requiring Android 2.3.4 or higher) as well as tablets running Android 3.1 or higher. The shield includes an APK package and compiled source files to facilitate integration with Arduino.
