Description

• Pin definition: A = R+, B = R-, Y = T+, Z = T-
• RS422 interface, two-way communication. A, B, Y, Z, GND interface (GND optional), ultra-long transmission up to 1000 meters
• 15KV ESD TVS diode for lightning and peak voltage protection
• On-board 10 ohm current-limiting resistor for overcurrent protection
• 120 ohm termination resistor to effectively reduce long-distance communication echo interference
• On-board power indicator LED
• RS485 interface with 2-wire and 3-wire modes; GND available if needed
• RS485 interface uses a standard 301 terminal block for simple wiring; users can also solder 2.54mm pitch pins
• TTL side: 5V DC power supply, RXD/TXD compatible with 5V logic signals
• Communication rate of 2.5 Mbps
• Board may feature MAXIM or SIPEX ICs (random selection).
