12mm piezoelectric ceramic disc functioning as a vibration sensor or energy generator. Ideal for Arduino and ESP32 projects.
Sensitive to mechanical pressure, it generates an AC voltage usable for shock detection or kinetic energy harvesting.
The 12mm piezoelectric ceramic transducer is a versatile component capable of operating in generator (piezoelectric) or actuator (vibration) modes. It is ideal for kinetic energy harvesting, shock detection, or generating simple tones.
Usage Notes: In sensor mode, connect a pull-up or pull-down resistor and a series capacitor to protect your microcontroller's analog input. In actuator mode, an AC signal at high frequency is required for effective vibration; direct DC supply will only cause a click or static deformation.
