This breakout board integrates the SIM800L modem along with the necessary power regulation and matching circuits for direct connection to microcontrollers.

It connects via a TTL serial port compatible with both 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels, enabling direct interfacing with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32 boards. The module operates at 3.7 V to 4.2 V (typically regulated from a 5 V source) and requires peak currents up to 2 A during radio transmission bursts.
