A minimalist Arduino-compatible board, fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. This is a 5 V board running the 16 MHz bootloader (select 'Arduino Pro Mini' in the Arduino software). The Pro Mini ships without connectors so you can solder in any header or wires in the orientation you need.
We recommend first-time Arduino users start with the Uno. The Pro Mini is intended for users who understand the constraints of 5 V operation, no connectors and off-board USB.
This Arduino Pro Mini compatible board is based on the ATmega328P microcontroller. It is available in two versions: a 5 V version running at 16 MHz and a 3.3 V version running at 8 MHz, both using an external resonator (0.5 % tolerance).
The board includes a voltage regulator matched to its version, reverse polarity protection, overcurrent protection, and a maximum output current of 150 mA. External power supply can range from 5 V to 12 V DC. The connectors are not pre-soldered, allowing you to choose the pin orientation for your specific project.
