Based on piezo-resistive technology, the BMP180 ensures ruggedness and long-term stability. Connectable via I2C, it is compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi architectures for weather and navigation projects.
The Grove - Barometer Sensor (BMP180) features the Bosch BMP180 digital barometric pressure sensor, known for high precision and low power consumption. Although the chip operates natively between 1.8 V and 3.6 V, this module includes necessary level-shifting circuitry to be compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels. It connects directly to a microcontroller via the I2C bus without hardware modifications.
