Le matériau sensible au gaz utilisé par le capteur de gaz MQ135 est l'oxyde d'étain (SnO2), qui a une faible conductivité dans l'air propre. Lorsque le capteur est maintenu dans les gaz polluants, la conductivité du capteur augmente avec l'augmentation de la concentration de l'air pollué. L'utilisation d'un simple circuit peut convertir le changement de conductivité en un signal de sortie correspondant à la concentration de gaz.

What is MQ-135 gas sensor and how does it work?

The gas sensor module consists of a steel exoskeleton under which a sensing element is housed. This sensing element is subjected to current through connecting leads. This current is known as heating current through it, the gases coming close to the sensing element get ionized and are absorbed by the sensing element. This changes the resistance of the sensing element which alters the value of the current going out of it.
