The ITDB02 LCD modules works in 3.3V voltage level and are not compatible with Arduino Mega pins, for that reason, this Arduino MEGA shield connects with these LCDs. Now you can directly plug the ITDB02 Series LCDs in the shield and stand on the Arduino board.
ITDB02 Arduino Mega shield support both 3.3V mainboard and 5V mainboard, so it not just can be used with Arduino but can with other Arduino compatible mainboards , like ChipKit UNO32 or Arduino DUE.
